We are finally settled in Starkville and having a great time! We're both getting anxious for our schools to get under way, John Allen especially! We have been asked numerous times, "So, how are ya'll gonna do it?" Meaning, how will you survive on a teacher's salary (I think)! To answer that question, see picture below. . .
This. . .is how we do it! Yep, we have a nice little villa overlooking the park . . . the trailer park. It is small but cozy and we actually are loving it! I've been scurrying around trying to make it feel like home, John Allen has been playing at the pond with Sugar, and we're all finding our niche! I know you're curious, and I'm excited to show the semi-final results of the interior decorating that has been taking place!

John Allen has finally purchased his books and is excited to get busy studying! Sugar has always been his "study buddy". John Allen reads his notes aloud to her so he can learn them. She may or may not be listening, but it helps him! She found one subject that she refuses to help him study!

Wow!! You've done a great job! Living on a teacher's salary isn't too bad. We've been doing it for 3 years now...and we aren't starving too bad! ha!
