A Bham Weekend

This past weekend, we spent some time in Birmingham with Paula, Wem, Will, and James (John Allen's sister's family). It was a beautiful weekend! We went to Will's t-ball game then went on a hike at Oak Mountain. We even went to a petting zoo and saw some cute baby goats, but my camera battery was dead by then.

Will did a great job in the game!

James is the most well-behaved child! He was sick with a bad cold, and was still so good!

Our hike was beautiful! It was the perfect day for it! We played follow the leader, and Will was always the leader! It was pretty funny!

A sssssnake!!! All John Allen got out of his mouth was sn...and I was outta there! I think I pushed Paula off the trail. You can see how far away from them I am, and I even zoomed in! I don't handle emergency situations well at all! This is not good for my husband and future children. When something unexpected happens, I unvoluntarily start running in the other direction. When kids fight at school, I go the other direction (which is the smart thing to do) or just stand there stupified and stare. If anyone, or even the dog, ever gets sick at their stomach, I take off! Once, I saw an old man get hit by a car in the WalMart parking lot, and I just started running! I wasn't running to help him, or to get help; I was just running! I wasn't even running towards my car! I just freak out! I would not be the person to go into the wilderness with! I would feed you to the bears without even thinking about it! Sorry. . that's terrible! I would, however, try to catch it on camera!
