Happy Anniversary to us!

Today is our fourth anniversary! My how time does fly, doesn't it? When I think of all that has taken place in our lives since January 17, 2004, it almost seems unreal! I have to admit that when we got hitched, I wasn't quite aware of the roller-coaster I was boarding, but as all roller-coasters do, they make you glad you decided to ride! There have been surprises at every turn, plenty of slow, uphill climbs, lots of moments that make you wonder "what just happened?", times we've wondered if we were upside down or right side up, thousands of moments we've laughed until our sides hurt (usually at John Allen), and every day, even if it's just for a second, there's the feeling of tummy-tickling freefall when you can open your eyes, throw your hands in the air and squeal with joy, because you know that you are locked in tight and that no one is going anywhere. That's a good feeling.

One of the qualities that I love about John Allen is his spontaneity and his desire to leave no stone in life unturned! We've flipped alot of them over, and we're still flippin'! If this were a real roller-coaster, I'd be first in line to ride again!
